Who we are

Chindwin Medical and Humanitarian Network (CMHN) is a local-led, non-profit organization dedicated to providing life-saving humanitarian aid and healthcare services in conflict-affected areas of Myanmar, particularly the Sagaing Region. In response to the growing humanitarian crisis following the Myanmar Military Coup of February 2021, CMHN works to support displaced and vulnerable communities by delivering essential services such as emergency medical care, food security, WASH, shelter, and education.

Driven by the principles of neutrality, independence, and impartiality, CMHN ensures that aid reaches those most in need, regardless of political, ethnic, or religious affiliation. Our mission is to uphold the dignity and rights to life of affected populations during times of crisis.

CMHN is registered as Global Chindwin Medical and Humanitarian Network (GCMHN) in US. Global Chindwin Medical and Humanitarian Network (GCMHN) is registered 501(c)(3) Nonprofit Organization. EIN: 99-1181191.

Vision

Community-led response of Humanitarian Aids and Essential Healthcare Services are provided to reachable conflict affected areas for the rights to life in dignity during crisis time.

Missions

CMHN offers humanitarian assistance with Sphere Standard to IDPs and host communities of conflict affected areas by providing food security, nutrition, WASH, shelter and education to the children along with emergency medical service to victims of the conflict, primary health care to women and girls, health education and rehabilitation services to people with disability as well as providing capacity development of the key stakeholders and civil society actors in democracy, peace, resilience, human rights, and good governance.
